Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you sign up: your email address and a hashed password. When you use the app: server logs (IP, user agent, pages viewed) and a session cookie. When you upgrade to Pro: your billing is handled by Stripe; we store the Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but never see your card. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate, pseudonymous usage — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and device/browser type — collected via Google's cookies and not linked to your account.
2. What we do NOT collect
We do not run advertising trackers, ad networks, or session-replay/heatmap tools, and we never sell or rent your personal data. Our only third-party processor for usage measurement is Google Analytics (see sections 1 and 4).
3. How we use your data
Email: account access, transactional notifications (payment receipts, alert digests), and the occasional product update. Server logs: rate-limiting, abuse prevention, and debugging. We do not use your data for marketing or advertising.
4. Cookies
We use a first-party session cookie for authentication, and Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or session-replay pixels.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or unsubscribe from transactional emails at any time by contacting hello@uytrades.com. Deleting your account removes your email, hashed password, saved views, and alert rules within 7 days. Server logs older than 30 days are purged automatically.
6. Data location
Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Static assets are served from object storage. Backups are encrypted at rest.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced via the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
